Amy Novak Huff, owner and attorney, has been practicing law in Colorado for 12 years. Amy completed her undergraduate degree from University of Colorado at Boulder in 1996. After teaching high school in Durango, Colorado and Mancos, Colorado for a few years, she attended Denver University’s College of Law, where she obtained her juris doctorate degree. Amy became licensed to practice law in Colorado in 2003. Amy served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Roger A. Klein, Chief Judge Weld County District Court and Water Judge District Court Water Division No.1 from 2003-2004. Amy worked for the law firm of Carlson, Hammond & Paddock, LLC, in Denver, Colorado, during law school and after her clerkship until 2007, when she moved to Durango, Colorado to be closer to family.
Amy opened her private practice in Durango, Colorado, in 2008. Since that time, the firm has served over 200 clients in a wide range of matters. Colorado Water & Land Law is located in downtown Durango, but represents clients in all regions of the state.
